Andy Smith is Senior Vice President for Lincoln Property Company in Austin, Texas. In this role, Mr. Smith is directly responsible for the generation of business opportunities relating to agency leasing, property management, construction management, and project development. This includes oversight of business relationships with owners, investors, lenders, brokers, and tenants.
Mr. Smith has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing and brokerage. He joined Lincoln Property Company in 2016 and has extensive leasing experience in a number of Southwest Markets (Austin, Houston, New Orleans, and Dallas). Prior to joining Lincoln, he served as Director of Leasing for Parkway Properties (2 years), was Vice President for Thomas Properties Group (5 years), and had a 13 year career as Managing Director for Equity Office Properties. He got his start in commercial real estate in the Houston office of CB Richard Ellis in 1986.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate/Finance from Baylor University and serves on the executive board and the board of directors of the Downtown Austin Alliance. He is also actively involved in the Austin Chamber, Real Estate Counsel of Austin, and the Commercial Brokers Association.
Mr. Smith and his wife reside in Austin, Texas with their three children. He and his wife are licensed foster parents and he is involved in church activities and enjoys golf and coaching basketball at the Regents School of Austin.
