Bio
Andy Esbenshade was born in Lancaster County. Andy has lived here his entire life with the exception of two years. Andy’s family lived in London, England for one year while his father was working there. Andy also lived in Northern New Mexico for a year after I graduated from high school.
Andy’s family goes back to 1749 in Lancaster County. His great to the 7th grandparents Daniel and Elizabeth lived in Strasburg in Lancaster County. Andy lived in the city of Lancaster most of his life and graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School. Andy entered Real Estate in 1988 after completing the required courses and state licensing exam. Andy has completed courses in Appraisal of Residential properties, Brokerage and office management, Property Management, Real Estate Law, New Home Construction, and Real Estate Investment.
Andy completed the Graduate Real Estate Institute courses to obtain my GRI designation and completed training for the Accredited Buyer Representative, or ABR, designation. From 1997 to 2004, Andy was an owner-partner in Mallard Ponds Associated. We constructed and sold 250 single-family homes and townhomes.
Andy and his wife live in Manor Township. They have a cat, a dog, and two horses. Andy enjoys working out at the gym, walking, biking, kayaking, sailing, hiking, photography, art, antiques, traveling, going downtown, and the beach.
Andy feels that you have to give back to your community, so he is very involved in community organizations. Over the years he has been President of the Commercial Industrial council of the Local Realtors Association, a board member of The Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership, a member of the Economic Development Action Group of the Lancaster Campaign, and a past member of the Executive committee of Lancaster City Living organization. Additionally, Andy is the past president and board member of the Landis Valley Museum. Andy also sits on the advisory committee of the PRIMA Theater.
