Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, Anne Zalbowitz embodies the bold, determined spirit intrinsic to the Buckeye State. At 18, she ventured to Boulder, Colorado, where she pursued her passions at the University of Colorado, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Biology. Continuing her academic journey, Anne earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Science Education from Urbana University in Ohio, before furthering her studies with a Master's Degree from Lesley University.
Fueled by a passion for adventure and a service-driven mindset, Anne embarked on a transformative journey with the US Peace Corps, dedicating 2.5 years to teaching and training educators in the Philippines. There, she developed innovative seminars for science educators and organized workshops and hands-on experiential learning expeditions, funded by international grants she secured.
Now calling Durango, Colorado home, Anne has spent over two decades enriching her community. For 16 years, she served as a dedicated secondary science educator in the Durango 9R Public Schools while earning her Master’s in Technology in Education from Lesley University. Additionally, Anne has volunteered extensively in her children's elementary school classrooms, fostering literacy and cultural education.
Anne brings a unique perspective to her role as a real estate agent, with over 20 years of experience navigating Durango's property market. A skilled investor in Durango's realty herself, she has created her own small-scale rental business through investments in local properties. As the owner of Altitude Property Rentals, LLC for the past 13 years, Anne has extensive local networks within the rental and housing markets. Dedicated to her role as a Realtor at Keller Williams and as the owner and manager of several rental properties, she has honed her skills as a responsive, ethical problem-solver, committed to providing top-quality rentals and exceptional realty services.
