Meet Antje Gehrken, CCIM, the dynamic force behind A.R.E. Partners, a boutique brokerage specializing in customized client experiences with its innovative Mach 3 approach. As the President and Designated Managing Broker, Antje has navigated the sale of diverse properties throughout Greater Chicagoland and NW Indiana, ranging from single-family homes to commercial to development opportunities and everything in between, highlighting her wide-ranging expertise.
Antje's listings and her insight have graced prominent platforms including 'Crain's Chicago Business', ABC News, Chicago Tribune, FOX News, and more, cementing her reputation as a trailblazer in the industry. Her exceptional achievements to the real estate industry were recognized when she was named the 2023 Realtor of the Year by the esteemed Chicago Association of Realtors- an honor well-deserved for her hard work, dedication, and unmatched expertise.
As the 2022 President of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Antje's leadership style garnered immense respect from her peers. Her inaugural speech served as a shining moment, offering valuable insights into her vision and approach to leading the organization. With an inspiring and captivating delivery, Antje's speech left a lasting impact, setting the tone for her successful tenure as the association's President.
Widely regarded as an expert in the real estate field, Antje is frequently sought after for her insights, often serving as the go-to source for media outlets like ABC-News Chicago. She has been featured on the cover and in feature articles of prestigious publications, such as Chicago Realtor Magazine, solidifying her position as a prominent figure in the industry.
Her accolades include being an eight-time Who's Who by Chicago Agent Magazine, receiving the 2018 President's Award from the Chicago Association of Realtors, and being named "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Women's Council of Realtors. Antje's contributions are so significant that she even made it into the book "Becoming A Real Estate Agent" (Simon & Schuster) as one of the three real estate brokers recognized on a national level.
Antje's commitment to elevating the real estate profession extends to her role as a director for the National Association of Realtors and Chair for Illinois Realtors Commercial and Property Management Committee. Her coveted CCIM designation, held by only 6 percent of commercial professionals, sets her apart as an expert in the commercial and investment real estate arena.
Beyond her professional success, Antje's heart lies in giving back to her community. Her volunteerism for the real estate industry as well as home and property rights span several positions, displaying her dedication to making a positive impact. As a mentor for the Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Commercial Real Estate Initiative and a President's Circle Golden R Major Investor in the Realtors® Political Action Committee, Antje actively supports and advocates for the real estate industry and homeownership dreams.
Previously spearheading a southern rock/country band managed by Reba McEntire’s company and signed to Taylor Swift’s record label (think: if ZZ Top and The Dixie Chicks had a baby), Antje retired from the music business to turn her full attention toward real estate. Embracing a new chapter, she focused all her star power on real estate, crafting A.R.E. Partners into one of Chicago's hottest brokerages, catering to investors, buyers, and sellers with exceptional service and attitude.
A Chicago native, Antje embraces a work-hard, play-hard philosophy. When she is not passionately serving her clients or guiding her team, she indulges in tennis, immersing herself in books, savoring warm days outdoors, taking on new challenges, and cherishing quality time with her family. Antje's journey is a testament to her unwavering determination and vibrant spirit that continues to make waves in the real estate world.
