April Femrite has been a licensed Minnesota Business Broker since 2016 and specializes in the sale and purchase of manufacturing, hospitality, retail and service companies. She brings with her many years of experience as a small business owner (Naturally Bamboo and Bent River Outfitter) along with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Minnesota State University, Mankato. April has completed her designation as a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) which less than 10% of all Business Brokers around the world have achieved. She provides professional, knowledgeable representation to clients during the process of selling or buying of privately held businesses. Services offered include: buyer consulting and representation, broker opinion of business value, marketing of the business with confidentiality, screening of potential buyers, facilitating negotiations, managing due diligence investigation and coordinating all aspects of the business sale.
April and her husband, Jason, have been a part of the Mankato community their entire lives and have two teenage sons. She is the Board Vice-Chair/Program Committee Chair of Mankato Area Junior Achievement, mentor to MSU-Mankato and Mankato West/East entrepreneurship students and volunteers for the Backpack Food Program on a regular basis. In her spare time April enjoys biking, hiking, traveling, golfing, CrossFit and attending sporting events – Minnesota Gopher Football and Basketball, Twins, MNUFC Loons Soccer but most of all their boys’ cross country/track meets, basketball and football games and soccer matches.
