Arthur Spitalnick, Associate Broker, is a dedicated tenant broker and owner’s representative who has successfully negotiated in excess of 200 lease transactions. Arthur’s many tenant clients, including apparel companies, non-profits and communication companies, appreciate his in-depth knowledge of the Midtown and Downtown districts. He has recently negotiated deals for such high-profile tenants as the Art Students League, Friends of Eva Moskowitz and B&J Fabrics, which was forced to relocate because its building is being condemned to make way for The New York Times’ new headquarters. Other tenants Arthur has brokered space for include Strand Communications, HG USA, Corporation and Delta Textiles NY, Ltd. Before joining The Kaufman Organization, Arthur began his Real Estate career at Handler Real Estate Services in 1994 followed by five years with Adams & Co. Prior to his venture into commercial real estate Arthur served as Executive Vice President of Evan-Picone, Inc and helped found and served as president of Spitalnick & Co, a global apparel manufacturing company. The firm’s annual volume was in excess of $100 million when Leslie Fay, Inc. acquired it. An active member of the community, Arthur is a founder of the Alfred Einstein College of Medicine; a former co-chairman of the Maccabi Youth Games Committee of the Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center in Roslyn, New York. Other charitable affiliations include the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the Dysautonomia Foundation and the Children’s Medical Fund. Arthur attended Alfred University. Arthur is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
