Bio
Barbara Penn has been doing real estate for as long as she can remember! "I grew up in the Real Estate Business," she explains. Her parents owned and operated properties in NY. She began leasing and subleasing apartments in NYC when she was only 17 years old. She bought her first property in Boca Raton at 21!
"It’s been amazing having the opportunity to watch our wonderful South Florida area grow over the last 30 years," says Barbara, who is regularly featured in the media for her expertise. It gives me a lot of inside insight to help my clients.
Barbara, a top-producing realtor for over 20 years brings a vast amount of knowledge to both residential and commercial properties. She utilizes advanced marketing techniques both nationally and internationally. She is also a certified negotiation expert, and her confidence comes from her experience. She consistently breaks records for her clients, aiming to get the highest prices possible for their homes. She has also been successful in selling houses that have been on the market for years- sometimes more than the asking price. How does she do it?
"I'd like to think I have it as luck, but it takes a lot of skill, perseverance, and knowledge," Barbara says. "Every transaction always has its complexities. It's learning how to put out those fires before they start."
She says she likes to think of herself as a "Concierge Realtor" as she is there for her clients above and beyond day and tonight. She tends to form close relationships with her customers, helping them well after the transaction.
"One of the most rewarding aspects of real estate is helping my clients." She says. "I am proud to have relationships with clients for several years both buying and selling." That is the true indication of doing a great job when they keep coming back and referring to their friends and family.
Barbara Penn is also a personal real estate investor. She is on the Board of Adjustment and Appeals in Highland Beach and currently working on publishing her Real Estate educational books. Barbara’s hobbies include yoga, Zumba, and running on the beach with her dog, Sushi. She also loves boating on our beautiful waterways and spending quality time with her son, Micheal, who currently lives in NYC. They both volunteer whenever possible-one of their favorite is "Experience Camps," A bereavement camp for children.
