Since graduating from Pratt Institute, Barbara has practiced interior design, specializing in corporate and healthcare projects for over 20 years. Some of her clients include Atapco, Ciena, Cignal, the Alvin and Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute, REIT Management and Research, Mackenzie Commercial, CB Commercial, University of Maryland College Park, and VISICU. She is a licensed design professional in Maryland, having passed the NCIDQ in 1983. She has served as the Maryland chapter President of IIDA and SMPS, and is involved in many organizational activities.
