Barry Smith joined Hall Associates in the year 2000 after a fifteen year career as a university development director, most recently at Virginia Tech. He is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, majoring in Management and Administration. Barry is an alumnus of Leadership Roanoke Valley, a program for emerging leaders sponsored by the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce.
As an owner of multiple real estate parcels, Barry has personal knowledge of his client´s investment needs. He has represented buyers and sellers in a full range of commercial and industrial real estate transactions. He has completed additional coursework in real estate appraisal and finance. Whether you are buying, selling or leasing commercial property, Barry has the experience necessary to effect a successful transaction. He has worked with national clients as well as single-practitioner medical and dental offices.
Barry Smith´s involvement in his community has included volunteer fundraising for Roanoke´s Center in the Square, the National Kidney Foundation and the Arthritis Foundation. He is active in his church with his wife, Penny, and daughter, Sophia.
