Bea Walker lived in the Laurens and Lake Greenwood area for all of her life. She grew up spending weekends on Lake Greenwood. Her grandfather was a game warden who worked in this area, and her family spent much time in Lake Greenwood in her early years. Later, her father purchased a store, now Lee's Barbecue, and although she grew up in Laurens in her early years, Greenwood and the lake became home to the family. She knows this area quite well. Nothing is more gratifying to her in life than being able to help people, especially in the type of work that she does. As a former teacher, Bea was very passionate about meeting the needs of her students, and she devoted a very large part of her life to that end. She knows quite well how wonderful it feels to "give yourself away" daily to reach others. Now, even as a realtor, she feels this same pull toward people as Bea tries to help them achieve their goals in buying or selling a home.
It is the "giving away" continually of herself, whether as a mom, as a realtor, and for all the many roles she performs that make life satisfying. In the work that she does as a realtor, it is especially gratifying to be able to help families experience the American dream of owning a home in this great country. Bea is a realtor who does not mind going the extra mile to help anyone, whether buying or selling. her primary goal is to achieve this in a smooth and stress-free manner. Her goal is to have happy, well-protected, and well-satisfied buyers and sellers who are proud of how their transaction is handled. Bea adheres to a strict code of ethics and stands by that firmly. She has loved so much the opportunity to meet and make friends with so many people in this business, and being able to help them has truly been a blessing for me. Next to her awesome and amazing God, her family is of utmost importance to Bea. They are her true blessing and the focus of her life. Bea and her husband, Jack, have two children, Patrick, and Claire, and now a wonderful son-in-law, Kenny, and now a well-loved little grandson, Eli! Their son is a Clemson graduate, has been to Iraq and served for one year, and is now building his business as LAWNPRO Landscaping in Greenwood. Claire is a graduate of North Greenville University, as is her husband Kenny, and both of them live in Wake Forest, N.C., where Kenny is pursuing his Master of Divinity. Claire, like her mom, has a passionate love for music, and has sung in numerous churches, and coffee shops, and even launched a CD with music expressing her immense love for God. She and Kenny have been a team and have played and sung at many churches, parks, coffee shops, and the like.
Bea herself has loved music for all of her life. She has a great passion for piano and keyboard and, at present, loves playing with their Praise/Worship Team at the church every other Sunday. She has loved playing at weddings, often when her daughter would sing, for the church choir, or fill in for other church pianists. Her other interests include decorating her home, reading, traveling, being a children's choir director at church, and spending quality time with her family.
Bea has been in real estate for over five years, and love what she does. She has lived in this entire area for all of her life and is very familiar with Lake Greenwood and the entire Lakeland area.
