Belinda has been a commercial real estate broker since 1978. She was originally affiliated with Sherwood Commercial Brokers, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida until her relocation to Connecticut in 1981. Belinda joined Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. in May of 1981 and has been involved in office leasing and sales in Fairfield County.
Among the many companies Belinda has represented are Shawmut Bank (16 transactions), General Electric Credit Corporation, W.R. Berkley Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Pequot Capital. Since joining Ashforth, Belinda has generated over $475,000,000 in transactions totaling 3,600,000 sq. ft.
Belinda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Regional & Urban Planning from East Carolina University. She currently is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA <http://www.refact.org>).
She is actively involved on Benefit Committees for the Lockwood-Matthews Museum.
