Ben Claybaker, Co-Founder and Principal of NAI Nashville, is a 14-year commercial real estate industry veteran and business entrepreneur. He has represented clients in a wide array of commercial real estate transactions and has also built a portfolio of personal commercial properties and businesses. His areas of expertise include business management and development, strategic and tactical planning, retail and investment real estate, and opportunity identification.
Ben’s clients benefit from his years of experience in commercial real estate sales and management as well as his experience with the business and entrepreneurial aspect of the commercial sector. His commercial and lease sales transactions have earned him top producer at NAI Nashville several years. He also owns several commercial properties and is the owner of multiple businesses including his most recent restaurant start-up, Honey Fire Barbeque Company in Bellevue.
Ben entered commercial real estate as the General Manager for a regional commercial and property management firm in 2006, building his portfolio as an affiliate broker while expanding revenue for the company. As GM, Ben oversaw management of hundreds of residential homes, commercial buildings and multiple community associations. He also directly managed the day-to-day operations and leased space for 30 commercial buildings, giving him insight into the operations side of commercial real estate. Ben’s experience on all sides of Commercial Real State has proved to be an invaluable asset to his clients.
Before entering real estate, Ben worked as a Schedule C Appointee for the White House in 2005 and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Business Administration in Finance in 1999. He currently resides in Brentwood, Tennessee with his wife and three children.
