Bio
Ben is a native of the Tri-Cities and has a strong knowledge of the dynamics of the area. He has over a decade of Real Estate and Property Management experience and started his career selling Real Estate and managing homes for Windermere Real Estate/Tri-Cities. Ben sold on site, for two new condominium developments, sold resale homes, and was introduced to Property Management in 2003 with a portfolio of homes around the Tri-City area.
Ben then moved to the Seattle area and took on a larger management portfolio of homes working for Windermere Property Management/Eastside Inc. in Bellevue Washington. While working in Bellevue Ben earned his Managing Broker’s license and became the Manager of a new branch office located in North Seattle.
In 2006 Ben moved back to the Tri-Cities and took over a management portfolio at Windermere Property Management Tri-Cities, consisting of commercial, HOA, and residential properties. Ben enjoyed tackling the specific challenges of commercial management. In 2007, Ben dedicated his efforts to commercial management and growing the office culture and team of Advisors and Managers.
In 2016, the Firm moved to SVN International Corp. This gave Ben and the other managers and Commercial Advisors a franchise and network of offices dedicated exclusively to the Commercial industry with a strong focus on industry cooperation and a wealth of resources.
Ben has helped grow the Commercial Real Estate team at SVN Retter & Company from just two sales and leasing Advisors to seven full-time Advisors and 4 Property Managers today. This growth and the quality of the Advisors working around him has allowed SVN to lead the area in market share of buildings being sold and leased in the region, while also leading the area in highest average sales and leases per Advisor of any local office.
