Ben Perelmuter is the President and Chief Operating Officer of TPG Hotels & Resorts. He is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of TPG’s entire hospitality portfolio and reports to the Procaccianti Companies Executive Committee. Perelmuter brings with him an extremely impressive resume and an impeccable industry reputation. Prior to joining TPG Hotels & Resorts, he served as Divisional President of Aimbridge Hospitality and was responsible for managing the operational performance of more than 400 properties across all major brands within the United States, as well as assisting in the execution of 10 mergers and acquisitions of competitive hospitality management companies. A dynamic and engaging leader, Perelmuter earned continuous career advancements during his 14-year tenure with Aimbridge, from Regional Director of Operations to Regional Vice President, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and ultimately, Divisional President. Prior to assuming the above-property oversight at Aimbridge, he spent 11 years in hotel operations in large convention hotels and resorts as General Manager and in other director-level roles within operations. Prior hotels include the Grand Hyatt New York, Hyatt Regency New Orleans at the Superdome, Marriott Suites Clearwater Beach, and Embassy Suites in Tampa. He is a Queens, New York native and an alumnus of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. He has served on the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) board in addition to franchisee advisory committees for brands within Hyatt & Marriott.
