Ben Eisenberg, along with Walter Byrd, oversees Transwestern’s operations in Florida. He and his partners Walter, Thomas Kresse and Carlos Gaviria together comprise one of the leading real estate advisory teams in South Florida. Ben has represented institutional landlords to maximize occupancy and asset value as well as assisting major industrial and office tenants find and secure space. He also assists investors with the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets.
Before joining Transwestern, Ben was a senior vice president in the South Florida office of Trammell Crow Company. Along with Walter and Thomas, he was responsible for strategic business development for all aspects of industrial and office real estate services in South Florida, including brokerage, capital markets, investment sales, and corporate tenant representation. Prior to joining Trammell Crow, Ben was a senior director with the South Florida office of Cushman & Wakefield. He and his team were regularly ranked as top producers nationally while with those firms. During his career, Ben has successfully completed more than 30.0 million square feet of leases and 5.0 million square feet of sales.
Ben is consistently quoted in the local media as a source for current market information and real estate trends. Ben is a former member of the Board of Trustees for Miami Music Project which just celebrated 14 years of composing better lives by using music as an instrument for social transformation. He is an advisor and is a Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Make-A- Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. Ben previously served on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, is a former Chairman of the Charitable Giving Committee for the South Florida Golf Foundation and is a past Chairman of the Board of Governors at the Club at Doral. Additionally, Ben and his wife, Edie, are dog lovers and have successfully fostered more than 25 dogs since 2020.
