Bill was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston and came to California in 1978 to pursue his college education at UC Berkeley. He was drawn to Santa Cruz in 1981 by the natural beauty of the mountains and coastline as well as to pursue a graduate degree in Physics at UCSC. Enticed by the computer industry, he left UCSC and worked for IDC in marketing communications and later joined Santa Cruz Operation. Wanting to work more on his own, he began buying fixer homes and reselling them in 1986. He joined Thunderbird Real Estate in 1991 as a licensed agent and has since specialized in land and homes on land. He is also well acquainted with investment property and 1031 tax deferred exchanges. After working on a multitude of diverse transactions, including short sales and foreclosures these past 18 years, he has seen just about everything and has the experience to anticipate almost anything. Now that his two sons Paul and Dan have joined him at Thunderbird, his business has been raised to a whole new level. They are the Franzosa Team, tech savvy, efficient, and effective.
