Bio
William "Bill" Locher hails from New Jersey. Born, and raised on the East Coast Bill graduated from Albright College with a B.S. in Economics. After graduating Bill went to work as a management trainee with Esso Standard Oil Company, now ExxonMobil.
Bill took a sabbatical from his 33 years career to serve in the United States Army. Bill was stationed at Camp Meade, Fort Riley, and Yokohama. After Bill fulfilled his military duty he returned to ExxonMobil.
Bill held various positions with ExxonMobil, in Sales and Marketing. The majority of his assignments were within the Real Estate Department. Bill worked on both the East and West Coast, and finally relocated to Houston, TX.
After Bill retired from ExxonMobil he obtained a Texas Real Estate license. Bill started practing with RE/MAX Northeast of Kingwood, TX. Bill and his wife Joyce formed a company within RE/MAX marketing themselved as the "Olde Pros". Bill recongnized a need to serve not only the residential clients, but the business community as well.
In 1999, Bill and Joyce formed The Locher Group to serve both the Residential and Commercial needs in the Northeast Houston Market, including Southeast Montgomery County.
The Locher Group started on Northpark behind "Jitters", a coffee shop operated by Joyce's son, Wes Williamson. By 2010 Wes Williamson joined the family real estate business. In 2012 The Locher Group relocated to the present location at 2714 W. Lake Houston Parkway, Suite 120, Kingwood, TX 77339.
After 16 years in business Bill and Joyce are very proud to announce that Wes Williamson will lead the company starting January 2016, as the Broker of Record. In the tradition of professional service established by Bill and Joyce The Locher Group will continue to service all your real estate needs, both Residential and Commercial.
