Bill is a Senior Managing Director in the Mid-Atlantic office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas, with 35 years of commercial real estate. As member of JLL’s Supply Chain & Logistics Solutions Group, Bill has led some of the region’s highest profile and most complex capital markets assignments across multiple product types, including office, industrial, retail, and multi-housing. Bill also arranged sales leaseback, joint venture equity, and construction/permanent financing for assets located in Metropolitan Washington, D.C., the I-95 Corridor in Maryland and Virginia, the I-81 Corridor in Maryland/Virginia and West Virginia, Norfolk/Hampton Roads and Richmond. He is also responsible for executing the sale of industrial, flex and land assets and has completed over 210 transactions valued over $8 billion, totaling 26 million square feet. Prior to his career with JLL, Bill was recognized as one of Washington’s most successful tenant/landlord representation brokers, having represented corporate occupiers such as McKinsey & Company, Toyota, Omnicom Group, and landlords such as Prudential, AEW, Morgan Stanley in executing over 150 leases, totaling $2 billion in aggregate value. Bill combines his unmatched asset marketing background, strong financial skills and market-leading U.S. and cross-border equity investment relationships, to bring creativity in structuring transactions with successful outcomes for his clients. During his 35-year career, Mr. Prutting has completed such notable assignments as the sale of: Lincoln Place in Pentagon City (493,000 square feet with a value of $156,000,000) Metro Park North in Rockville, Maryland (902,000 square feet in 17 buildings with a value of $125,250,000) The Boulders Office Park in Richmond, Virginia (515,000 square feet in 5 buildings with a value of $62 million) Parkway Business Center in the Baltimore-Washington Corridor (1,095,000 square feet in 13 buildings with a value of $53,200,000) 1710 H Street in Washington, D.C.
