Before founding Kawa & Associates, Bob worked with Del E. Webb Corporation for more than a decade leasing, managing and developing millions of square feet of retail, office and industrial space.
He is a graduate of W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Bob has also earned professional designations as Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager. He is also a member of the CCIM Institute, Institute of Real Estate Management, and Urban Land Institute.
Bob is also active in his community serving as an advocate for Food for the Hungry, a faith-based, international development and relief agency and as a member of the Barnabas Group.
Bob’s vision encompasses the big picture, while also focusing on what is best for the client. These educational, professional and civic experiences have allowed Bob to build a deep, almost instinctual, understanding of the Phoenix commercial real estate arena, the intricacies of building operations, the processes of tenant improvement and the art of negotiation.
