Bio
With more than twenty years in commercial construction and real estate development, Bowie Holland has been instrumental in building the Empire Holdings portfolio.
Since joining Empire Holdings Real Estate in 2011, he has focused on industrial development, leading the team with a customer-centric, common-sense approach. He focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, and overall management of current projects. He has recently facilitated dispositions of two large blocks of properties with values exceeding $60MM, as well as the acquisition of multiple industrial land sites for future development and build-to-suit opportunities. Bowie has worked directly with some of the most demanding national tenant partners in the country including REI, Starbucks, Walmart, Honeywell, Dish Network and Sunbelt Rentals.
Bowie is responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the $100+ million portfolio with an additional $25+ million of development in-progress. He oversees collaborations with a wide range of consultants, brokers and works directly with city staff on incentives and complex entitlements including zoning changes, platting and phased development.
Bowie holds a BS in Industrial Distribution and a Business Minor from the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. He has deepened his industry knowledge by successfully completing the rigorous requirements of the Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation. He is committed to excellence and actively contributes to the commercial real estate community through his work with the Real Estate Council’s Governmental Affairs and Executive Committees as well as the Mayor’s Development Advisory Committee. He was recognized by the Fort Worth Business Press as a 40 Under 40 Honoree.
