Brad Wilmot is an Executive Vice President in the CBRE Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance Group. He is also a Managing Director in the Private Placement Bond team of CBRE Capital Advisors, Inc., which specializes in Credit Tenant Lease (CTL) private placement securities, bifurcated ground lease finance and other asset-backed and lease-backed securities.
An accomplished commercial real estate finance executive with more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Wilmot has an extensive background in originating, structuring and negotiating loans across all major asset classes in markets throughout North America. He has been involved in the origination and closing of over $15 billion in commercial real estate loans.
Mr. Wilmot focuses on capitalizing all major CRE asset types for institutional and middle market clients with needs in the large and mid-size loan spaces. He also helps facilitate collaboration with CBRE Capital Markets’ Investment Properties professionals on a nationwide basis.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Wilmot was with Goldman Sachs in Los Angeles, where he served as Regional Director for the firm’s Real Estate Financing Group. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he established the firm’s real estate lending practice in Los Angeles and was responsible for the origination, structuring and securitization of large and conduit CMBS loans, as well as non-recourse loans for the firm’s balance sheet. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of West Coast Originations for Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group, and served as Executive Director and Western Region Head for JP Morgan’s CMBS Lending Group.
