Branden Gordon graduated with honors from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. His concentration was Finance with an emphasis on Real Estate and a minor in Economics. He has also completed the Cornell University Certificate Program in Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management. Over an eighteen-year career as a commercial real estate appraiser for Horwath HTL (formerly Hotel & Club Associates of Virginia), Branden valued and evaluated over 500 hotels in 36 states and the District of Columbia. Branden has focused on the valuation of proposed and existing hotels, as well as conference centers, hotels with tax credits, DOT takings, highest and best use studies, mixed use projects and feasibility studies. Prior to focusing on the hospitality industry, Branden worked at Harbor Group International as a Financial Analyst underwriting mostly large CBD office towers, self-contained suburban office parks and garden style apartment complexes for acquisition, disposition and refinancing.
