Brandi Hanback is Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Development and Head of FTZ, Trade & Logistics for Rockefeller Group. In this role, she has a direct leadership role in overseeing the company’s national development platform, focused on increasing activity in existing markets and expanding into new markets. She also oversees the company’s longstanding Foreign Trade Zone division, which consults with tenants and clients on complex international trade, logistics and customs matters. From 2013 to 2019, she was Executive Vice President of Industrial Development, where she led the industrial business line in the completion of more than eight million square feet of development nationally, contributing significantly to the company’s most active decade for development since its founding in 1928. Prior to joining Rockefeller Group in 2003, Ms. Hanback was a Senior Manager and Area Leader at KPMG LLP in Washington, D.C. Ms. Hanback also formerly served as Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones. In this capacity, she represented the interests of FTZ grantees, operators, and users through interaction with federal agencies and congressional committees involved in international trade. She presently serves on the CREW Network Finance Committee. Ms. Hanback holds a Juris Doctorate from Catholic University and is admitted to the bars of Maryland, District of Columbia and the U.S. Supreme Court. She holds a master’s degree in international transactions from George Mason University, and a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech. She is a licensed Customs Broker and an Accredited Zones Specialist.
