Brent Ball joined Compass Commercial as a Senior Vice President in 2021 and has earned a reputation for always putting his clients’ best interests first. By being a trusted Real Estate Investment Advisor with a commitment to achieving superior results, Brent delivers his clients the best deals possible and builds them wealth in the process.
A 30+ year veteran in the business, Brent has successfully closed thousands of sale and lease transactions totaling over $1B. Brent specializes in the purchase, sale and leasing of commercial investment properties throughout California including office, retail, industrial, multi-family and mixed-use development sites. Having worked in feature film production, Brent has a love for the entertainment industry and has helped many celebrity clients acquire and lease commercial real estate.
Previously Brent was a Senior Vice President at Kennedy Wilson Properties, where he was responsible for investment sales between $3M-$20M; clients were institutional and small investors, owner-users, and private equity executives. He has also helped numerous Tenants expand their retail portfolio, including Rock & Republic, Carl’s Jr., Pollo Campero, and many others.
With a great appreciation of art, architecture, music, and film, Brent values SoCal’s vibrant social, cultural, and historical diversity. In his free time, he enjoys mentoring Jr. Brokers, sailing, skiing and surfing.
Brent is a graduate of San Diego State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree, and a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Association of Industrial Realtors (A.I.R.), Association of California Real Estate Executives (ACRE), Beverly Hills Association of Realtors, and North San Diego County Association of Realtors (NSDCAR).
