Brett is a Senior Associate in the global advisory and transaction services group of CBRE where he focuses his efforts on representing tenants and landlords primarily in the Midtown South submarket. His day-to-day activities include account management and implementation, new business development, lease relocations and negotiations and financial analysis. Brett’s diverse background in the real estate market, analytical expertise and winning personality paired with his exceptional client service aptitude bring extraordinary value to his wide range of clients.
Prior to joining CBRE, Brett worked for Lincoln Property Company, responsible for daily client outreach, underwriting potential investment opportunities/acquisitions, and leasing assets with a focus on devising effective strategies to deliver the best results for his clients.
Preceding his career in New York City, Brett was an analyst for Franklin Street Properties, a public REIT in Boston, MA. While there, he produced discounted cash flow models using Argus software and analyzed balance sheets/income statements—giving him invaluable perspective into the inner workings of a property and a crucial understanding of how landlords view building revenue /expenses—insights that he brings to his work at CBRE. In addition, Brett worked for Thomson Reuters as a commercial real estate consultant in Boston, where he worked diligently for his clients to reduce commercial real estate taxes by analyzing city assessment data/income approach and the abatement process.
