Bio
Brian has been a Director at bdt since its merger with Woodford & Company in September 2015. Before that he worked at Woodford & Company from 1995, becoming a director in 2005. His previous experience involved working in London for 10 years at Drivers Jonas and Chesterton, having completed a Real Estate degree at Trent Polytechnic in 1983, and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1985.
He is responsible for agency related matters as well as undertaking lease renewals and providing corporate client advice. He principally handles (alongside Russell Ware) instructions which are listed in the Property Search section of this website, together with a number of investment and retail opportunities. He has in particular acted for La Salle Investment Management, CBRE Investment Management, Hermes Asset Management, DTZ Investors, Commercial Estates Group, Marchmont Investment Management, T A Fisher Ltd, Columbia Threadneedle. He has also acted for occupiers including Gordian Strapping, Sun Life of Canada, The IDS Group, Omnico and Seabourne Group.
In recent years he has been involved in some of the largest occupational warehouse transactions in Basingstoke, to include the letting of Unit B3 at Grafton Way on the West Ham estate (107,000), Unit A Hamilton Close on Houndmills (45,000 sq ft) and Tyson Park (117,000) and was involved in the largest office letting last year at Midpoint.
