Bio
As a Senior Vice President at CBRE, Brian Saal co-leads the Government Investment Properties practice. This practice specializes in the sale of properties occupied by government tenants. Mr. Saal and his team work with owners and investors throughout the country. He is an expert in all facets of the sales cycle, performing asset valuations, advisory and marketing services and dispositions. Mr. Saal began his career in the U.S. Navy as a helicopter pilot and transitioned to commercial real estate in 2007. He worked with JLL for the last 12 years, the last 10 focused on the government tenant sector, becoming an expert in both leasing and sales. He currently serves as a contributing editor for the Journal of Government Real Estate. Prior to joining CBRE, Brian Saal was an Assistant Vice President on the Government Investor Services (GIS) team in Washington, DC. Brian also provides financial and negotiation support in Federal lease procurements. His responsibilities include market and financial analysis, providing capital markets insights into all levels of Federal transactions, identifying acquisition opportunities for clients and preparing offering materials for potential investors.
