Bio
Bruce McLellan has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, including representing both building owners and tenants. A majority of his work has been in the San Francisco Bay Area although he has had many national tenant representation assignments which led to the completion of transactions across the country. The scope of his leasing transactions have varied and range in size from small offices to over 400,000 sq ft. He has been involved in investment sales on projects ranging in size from 5,000 to 100,000 sq ft.
Bruce’s development of a long-term real estate strategy for his clients has been the key to his success. From his early days as a commercial loan officer with Bank of America through his recent real estate transactions, Bruce has always enjoyed working with key personnel (the entrepreneur) at his client’s firms in formulating both their short-term and long-term goals. Through the development of strong personal relationships in the San Francisco Bay Area (he is a 5th generation San Francisco native), Bruce has been able to find the elusive “needle in the haystack” for his clients. From hidden office spaces not on the market to assembling a block of space like the Dodge and Cox transaction at 555 California Street (which involved the simultaneous closing of two subleases, a direct lease and the cross termination of a long-term agreement between Bank of America and the ownership of the building), each deal is unique. Bruce has represented tenants and owners from various industries, including investment firms, emerging technology companies, medical groups, banks, retail organizations, law firms, biotech companies, engineering firms, airlines, art galleries and insurance, advertising and talent agencies.
