Bruce Schuman possesses over 34 years of experience exclusively representing tenants at Savills. His breadth of knowledge of the local and national marketplace proves invaluable when counseling clients with their real estate needs, no matter what the sector. Specifically, Bruce has specialized in three areas of commercial real estate: restructuring leases, creating space flexibility through expansion and contraction rights, and developing unique leverage strategies for tenants throughout the negotiation process. He also is especially experienced on the variety of positive and negative impacts that office space environments and locations have on productivity, recruiting and retention. His broad experience with a diverse client base allows him to see into his clients’ business challenges that are unique to their industries and situations. A sampling of Bruce’s clients includes Amadeus, Guthy-Renker, URS, Akin Gump, Zodiac Aerospace and Lennar Homes. From 1991 to 2005, in addition to his tenant representation work, Bruce served as a senior executive manager responsible for co-managing Savills Southern California branch offices in Los Angeles and Orange County. Very few tenant representation veterans can claim the range of experience that Bruce Schuman has in representing clients in hundreds of transactions, as well as overseeing and advising Savills professionals throughout his managerial tenure. Since 2006, when Bruce elected to reduce his management role, he has continued to focus his business exclusively on advising office space users.
