Burt H. Stutchin has been practicing law for over 39 years, and has been admitted to the bar in both Florida and New York. He also has been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and for the Middle District of Florida, and also all state courts in both New York and Florida. At the age of 19, Mr. Stutchin graduated from S.U.N.Y., Buffalo, magna cum laude. Attending Rutger’s School of Law at Camden, he was one of the youngest students to graduate, at age 22. He served as former Assistant District Attorney in King’s County, New York, handling misdemeanor and felony matters through trial. He was also assigned as a Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York, handling major drug cases. He served as chief defense counsel in a death penalty murder case in New Mexico, where he was admitted pro hac vice. Mr. Stutchin has been married to Cheryl Stutchin for almost 40 years, and is the proud father of two children, Evan and Haley.
