Cap currently serves as the Chief Operating Office and the head of Brokerage for the company. His day to day responsibilities include overseeing the Brokerage department, interfacing with clients, and coordinating the daily operations of the company. Cap brings a strong management capability to NAI Elliott and is widely admired by staff for his smiling and compelling leadership style.
Cap started with NAI Elliott in 1997 as a Senior Property Manager. From 2005 to 2008 while NAI Elliott was engaged as its asset manager, Cap served as the Director of Operations, Leasing, and Construction for the Bill Naito Company which had a portfolio of 12 properties in the Portland Central Business District totaling approximately 1,200,000 square feet. During his time as the leader of the Bill Naito Company the value of the portfolio was doubled through aggressive leasing efforts, reorganization of the company personnel structure and management team, revamping of board of directors communication and decision-making, and the restructuring of the company's debt structure. Prior to joining NAI Elliott, Cap worked for 11 years as President and Director of Quantum Commercial, a commercial property management and brokerage company in the Portland metropolitan area. Before that, he served as President of Bowen Property Management, an apartment management firm located in Portland.
