Bio
Carl N. Minieri is a construction & real estate development executive with 25 years of broad-based experience in both residential and commercial construction and development. His strengths are in operations management, implementation and field coordination. A third generation building contractor - having grown up in a builder/developer family - Carl, has been exposed to the building business his entire life. As Sr. Vice President of Property Management for The Gentile Group, he is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all new construction, development and capital improvement activities for the company owned properties. Carl deals directly with selected general contractors and subcontractors on assigned projects. He’s accustomed to preparing reports, cost estimates/budgets, schedules and supervision of construction and development activities for all acquired assets. Carl was employed with other building, site work and development firms prior to joining The Gentile Group. After graduating college, he began his career with the Jim Paige Corporation, a site development firm, where he started as an entry-level Estimator before taking the opportunity to work for a large-scale commercial building firm, known as Biltmore Construction Co., as part of a trio of commercial construction estimators performing quantity takeoffs and evaluating subcontractor bid proposals. From here, Carl joined his father in the home building business, Minieri Communities of FL, Inc., a company engaged in single and multi-family high-volume construction, as a Superintendent and eventually in Purchasing & Construction Operations. During this time, Carl’s involvement included supervising and coordinating sub-contractors and suppliers, cost cut budgeting, bidding and cost estimating. After the sale of his father’s business, Carl relocated to North Carolina and began working for a site development company Son-Shine Inc., where in a year’s time, he was promoted to Vice President while estimating for medium and large scale site work and utility operations. During his tenure here, Carl acquired his State of North Carolina Public Water & Sewer Utilities License. Scholastically, Carl first received his Associate Arts degree from St. Petersburg College before obtaining a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida in the School of Building Construction/College of Architecture. Some of the various projects to Carl’s credit include Holiday Lake Estates West, Regency Park, Catalina Beach Club, Chelsea Place, Fairway Oaks-Unit IIIA, Sun Bank NPR, Storage Connection-Phase II, Pinebrook Apartments; Gulf Industrials, Tropicana Mini Storage & Industrial Park, Tropicana Mini Storage/Belcher, River Trace Condominiums to name a few. Carl currently holds active licenses in the State of Florida as a Certified General Contractor (since 1983) and a Real Estate Broker/Salesman (since 1990). Carl served as Treasurer/Executive Director for the Pasco Builders Association, Inc., 1993 as well as on the Board of Directors of the Suncoast HOW Council the same year. He is married and an active parent of his two middle and high school age daughters.
