Carolyn Chodat of Medway, Massachusetts is the Broker/Owner of her firm Classic Properties Realtors, which she opened in 1987. She entered the real estate industry in 1983. Carolyn currently serves on the Board of Directors of MLS Property Information Network, a multiple listing service database which comprises the majority of Massachusetts real estate listings. Carolyn served on the original task force of the development of the Broker-Owned MLS Corporation and was elected Chairman of MLS Property Information Corporation in its inception in 1999.
Carolyn is actively involved in running her Agency, actively continues to list and sell in conjunction with her sales staff and enjoys serving in her real estate industry Boards and her community.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and the Greater Boston Association of Realtors. Carolyn serves on the 2012 Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and is the 2012 Program Chair for the Greater Boston Association of Realtors. She was awarded Realtor of the Year for the Greater Boston Board of Realtors in 1998, Realtor of the Year 2002 for the State of Massachusetts, and Realtor of the Year 2002 Worcester Regional Association of Realtors.
Carolyn holds several professional designations including GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) has served as President of the Massachusetts CRS State Chapter. Additional designations are CRB (Certified R.E Brokerage Manager), CBR (Certified Buyer Broker) and CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist). Also, the SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource) designation is an asset of knowledge to have earned in these days.
She is actively involved in the community through her membership in the Medway Business Council & was President of the Medway Business Council 2010-2011. She has served on Medway's Economic Development Committee and Medway's Design Review Committee. A member of Medway's Historical Society, she has served on their board since 2013.
