Carter Sopik is the newest member of the Retail Services Group at Avison Young, joining the team in 2015 as an Associate.
Carter supports and coordinates the efforts of the retail team, working in conjunction with the Client Service Coordinator Tanya Arsenault, to provide clients with the information and service they require as they make a real estate investment decision. He conducts research on available properties, prospecting sites and tapping into a network of industry leaders to keep the team’s roster of properties ahead of the market. He also collects data on demographics, lease rates, and community development to provide context to the retail market in Toronto.
Carter organizes client tours of potential sites for a first-hand experience of the buildings and neighbourhoods specifically selected to meet each client’s unique needs, and, using the results of his in-depth market research, Carter compiles surveys and information packages for the clients to take away.
As a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Business Administration degree with a concentration in entrepreneurship and innovation, Carter brings an informed perspective on the needs and potential growth strategies of Avison Young clients. Currently completing his real estate broker licence certification, Carter is eager to apply his education and experience in the coming years to deliver premier client services and real estate advice.
