As Executive Vice President of Development, Chad is responsible for Core’s growth through the successful development of new assets and value-add acquisitions. As a part of Core’s executive team, Chad works alongside other team leaders in evaluating new opportunities as well as overseeing the evolution of Core’s brands. Chad oversees all upfront development feasibility, due diligence, project design, entitlements, permitting, and general contractor procurement, while providing leadership to the development team throughout construction and project delivery.
Since joining Core in 2013, Chad has personally guided many of its marquee developments totaling over 2 million square feet of new ground up development. Over the years, Chad has guided the development of $1.3 billion in project value and 6.5 million square feet of new construction and renovation work across a broad spectrum of product types including education, convention, recreation, office, single and multi-family residential.
Chad graduated from the University of Illinois with a Masters of Architecture with a concentration in Construction Management & Real Estate Finance. Chad has spent time over the past years serving on the Urban Land Institute - Young Leaders Board, the Young Real Estate Professionals Board, the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Associate Board, and the Illinois Real Estate Alumni Forum.
