Charles Frankel began his Real Estate career in 1993 after spending 26 years in corporate accounting and finance. During his previous career he held senior and officer positions with Jos. E. Seagram & Co, LINK Resources at International Data, and DHJ Industries. In 1996, Chuck interrupted his Real Estate career for 5 years to be the Director of Finance for the Town of Ramapo, one of the largest towns (population 108,000) in New York State and returned to real estate full time in 2001. Chuck concentrates on commercial real estate brokerage with an emphasis on land use, municipal approvals, and investments. Since 1985 Chuck has been a member of the Planning Board in the Village of New Hempstead where he lives and has been Chairman of that board since 1992. In addition, he is the current 1st Vice President of the Rockland County Municipal Planning Federation which is devoted to training and certification of municipal planning and zoning board members as well as Town/Village board members. In 2005 Chuck joined Keller Williams Realty in Central Valley, NY as the Director of the Land and Commercial division. In 2007 Chuck and 2 partners, Frank Hemming and Chris Scibelli, formed Commercial Ventures Group LLC to expand commercial activities and which is now involved throughout the entire Hudson Valley and beyond. Chuck also has been selected to be one of the founding members of the Commercial Leadership Council in Keller Williams’ new National commercial real estate company, KW Commercial. Chuck is a Certified Real Estate instructor in New York State and teaches the pre-licensing and broker courses plus several commercial real estate and tax continuing education classes, including “1031 exchanges”, investments, and land use. He is an active participant in the Hudson Valley Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors currently representing Rockland County as a Director. He also is a member of the Rockland County Board of Realtors, Orange County Association of Realtors, NYS Association of Realtors, and the commercial alliance of the National Association of Realtors. He is also an active member of the Rockland Business Association where he is currently the chair of the Government Affairs and Economic Development committee for their Green Council which promotes “Green” businesses and products. He belongs to the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and an active “investor” in the Orange County Partnership. Chuck received his Bachelors degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and his Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University. And, he has attended specialized land use courses at Pace Law School’s Land Planning Institute. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. For fun, Chuck enjoys his passion for sports, and actively officiates/umpires at the high school, collegiate, and adult level in baseball, softball, football, volleyball, and swimming & diving. Married to Paulette for 34 years they have 2 children- Randi, 32, who is a special education reading teacher and Eric, 27, a graduate from the University of Miami’s Architectural school .
