Bio
Born in Boca Raton, Chas Prakas became a sales associate for Prakas & Co, Inc. in 2018. Being a South Florida native, Chas has deep roots in the surrounding areas landscape and a clear vision for reshaping properties.
As a 2017 graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a bachelors degree in communication and a minor in hospitality management, Chas’ lifelong passion has been involvement with the sale of restaurants, bars, clubs, and commercial properties.
Being exposed to the inner workings of both the restaurant sector and South Florida real estate market since childhood allows Chas to provide his clients with knowledge on the hottest locations for the F&B industry.
Chas prides himself on communication traits, serving Prakas & Co clients with the highest degree of customer service possible. With an exceptional eye for successful marketing strategies & social media trends, Chas has delved into operating the firms advertising department. Having worked for the Hillstone restaurant group for the majority of his adult life—both in and outside the company—he gained a clear insight into how one of the top national restaurant brands operates. Chas is dedicated to putting the customer first, no matter the situation, and learned early on the key to a valuable business relationship lies with customer service.
“I'm just very happy; our team at Prakas & Co. has already shaped some of South Florida's major restaurant landscape. Having the rare opportunity to seek some of the top national and even global restaurant brands and concepts and bring them to our backyard is a passionate task of mine."
"Being born in Boca Raton, I grew up a stone’s throw away from Mizner Park. Year by year, I saw how that property has rejuvenated the city with exciting restaurants, boutique retail stores & live concert performances. Also, as a current Delray Beach resident, I’ve seen Atlantic Ave. morph into the hottest area for new bars and restaurants firsthand. It's fascinating to see how high-end commercial developments and new restaurant concepts can overhaul an entire city in a matter of 5–10 years. South Florida has many subpockets and side beach cities that will eventually populate higher and higher and drive the need for restaurants, entertainment or even retail spaces. And nobody knows the south Florida market better than Prakas & Co. "
