Chase Tagen serves as a Director in Newmark’s Debt & Structured Finance business. Based in New York, Tagen focuses on raising debt and equity for platform capitalizations, portfolio and single asset financings across all asset classes, nationally. Since joining Newmark in 2021, Tagen has been part of $5 billion of capital markets transactions.
Tagen was previously a Senior Director in the New York office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas, where he participated in closing more than $2 billion in real estate transactions. With extensive experience in commercial real estate–including sales and equity placement, Tagen was primarily responsible for originating, marketing, and placing transactions in the New York metro area. Prior to his role as Senior Director, he was a key member of HFF’s New York Investment Sales team pre-acquisition by JLL, and also served on CBRE’s New York Investment Properties team.
