Four time Chairman of Deacons at First Baptist Church; past Chairman of the Board of Newnan Hospital. Received the Phoenix Award, the Crystal Phoenix Award and the Silver Phoenix Award. Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Club, three term past member of the Mercer Board of Trustees, serves on the Georgia Multiple Listing Service Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Vice President and Past Secretary And Treasurer Of Georgia MLS. Past President of the Newnan Kiwanis Club, Past President of the Newnan-Coweta United Way and, also, the Newnan Coweta Board of Realtors. Past Chairman of the Board of the Newnan Coweta Chamber of Commerce. Past State Director of the Georgia Association of Realtors. Then graduated in 1974 from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University with a J. D. Degree, where he served as Chief Justice of the Court of Honor. Chip and his wife, Margaret, have three children and seven grandchildren.
