Since joining Eshenbaugh Land Company in 2012, Chris Bowers has excelled at bringing specialized retail knowledge and a balanced developer’s perspective to this land-focused real estate brokerage team. Over the course of his career, Chris has been involved in the acquisition and sale of more than $200 million in real estate assets. He started his career in real estate in 2006 as a sales associate with the Ross Realty Group where he was involved in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. Chris joined Paradise Ventures (fka Paradise Development Group) in 2007 as Director of Disposition where he was responsible for the sale of grocery-anchored shopping centers, retail outparcels, and build-to-suit retail properties. In addition, Chris assisted in the acquisition of existing retail properties and development projects.
With this deep background in development, Chris has first-hand knowledge of what buyers and sellers look for in land transactions. He understands what potential buyers evaluate in site selection to make a particular site attractive AND he knows how to identify realistically feasible land use opportunities to maximize land value for sellers. A second-generation real estate professional, Chris says being involved in deals that make a positive impact on a community’s growth is what gives him the greatest sense of pride. He continually monitors real estate trends across all land use types to bring these insights to clients served by the firm. “As land brokers, we need to know a little about everything. Our team constantly stays educated and watches the marketplace to stay abreast of news and trends in retail, residential, office and industrial – what are the new concepts, who are the players, what are tenants doing, where are deals happening? Education is part of who we are and what we all do in this firm. It’s the difference we bring to our clients,” Chris said.
Chris is a Registered Florida Real Estate Broker and received his CCIM designation in 2010. He was named the “2013 & 2014 Million Dollar Producer” by FGCAR and is the Pinnacle Award Winner 2015 for 3rd Place for Top Land Producer. He’s an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers, CCIM Institute, Real Estate Investment Council, Realtors Land Institute and Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors.
