Chris Hatch is a co-founder and partner of Mountain West Commercial. Chris is an experienced and knowledgeable commercial real estate broker who is committed to the success of his clients and will do everything possible to ensure his clients are achieving their real estate objectives.
Chris is proud to be a third generation real estate professional. He started his real estate career learning under the tutelage of his father and grandfather. After several years of establishing his base knowledge in real estate Chris joined a Salt Lake based retail brokerage, Professional Brokers. At Professional Brokers Chris was an active commercial sales and leasing agent and helped with the expansion of many local and national clients in the state of Utah. After his experience there, Chris once again returned to his father’s development company where he helped to initiate several new projects. In 2007 Chris received his Utah and Idaho real estate brokers licenses and became a partner with Jake Olson.
In 2008 Chris and Jake partnered with Scott Brady and Brian Klewicki. Collectively they became one of the largest retail teams in the Intermountain West and are currently responsible for a large volume of transactions.
Chris’ real estate career has focused on creating the right opportunities for his clients. Over the years he has worked with developers, architects, engineers, city officials, banks, property owners, and many local and national retailers. He has learned the crucial role of communication between all parties during the development and leasing processes. He believes clear, timely communication is essential in maintaining an effective working relationship with clients.
Working tirelessly for their clients, the Mountain West team has provided unmatched service and dedication. This commitment has provided them the opportunity to handle the acquisition and disposition of properties for such tenants as Supervalu, Blockbuster Video, Burger King, Color Me Mine, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, GNC, Payless Shoe Source, Starbucks Coffee Company, Subway, T-Mobile, Zions Bank, as well as other local and regional developers.
Chris graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He holds active real estate brokers licenses in Utah and Idaho. He is an active member of ICSC. He assisted with helping to get the Utah Next Generation program started and is currently the ICSC Government Relations Chair for Utah. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to hunt and fish.
