Current Responsibilities
Chris advises his clients in the development and implementation of real estate strategic plans that connect with the overall operational and risk management structure of their firm.He works with his clients to craft “business solutions” that support their growth objectives as well as their risk management requirements.
Chris was the recipient of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ Fairfield County Lease of the Year for the relocation of General Re’s world headquarters, with its 20 year net lease of the 315,000 rsf at 120 Long Ridge Road.
Experience
Prior to The Staubach Company’s July, 2008 merger with Jones Lang LaSalle, Chris worked for six (6) years as a Principal with Staubach. Prior to his employment with Staubach, he invested in listed equities and investment partnerships, as well as founded MarketPlayer.com, an equity investment website of which CNBC owned 25%. With this success, he developed an extensive network of contacts in the asset management, hedge fund and investment banking community. He spent over thirteen years as a broker with Cushman & Wakefield, creating an impressive client portfolio that included Pfizer, Inc., Minerals Technologies, Inc., Martha Stewart Living, The Ford Foundation and Time, Inc. Sales transactions included 850 Third Avenue, 260 Madison Avenue and 261 Madison Avenue. He also acted as a leasing agent for 595 Madison Avenue, 575 Fifth Avenue and 1212 Avenue of the Americas.
Education and Affiliations
Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance and Marketing and a minor in International Relations from Lehigh University. He is active in The Spence School Alumni Parent’s Association, provides professional services to the Robin Hood Foundation and its grantee organizations, serves on the Executive Committee of The Murray H. Goodman Center for Real Estate Studies at Lehigh University, is a member of the Board of the Democracy Prep Public Schools and serves on the Elon University Parents’ Committee.
