Chris Murray joined Denny Elwell Company, L.C. in 2003. He was appointed President in 2007, and was later promoted to CEO in 2010. These additions have allowed the company to offer more services to current clientele and reach a broader customer base. This growth has led to the creation of a satellite office in the western Des Moines suburb of Waukee.
Chris earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in International Business & Finance from Grand View College and completed his Masters at Iowa State University. Prior to joining Denny Elwell Company, L.C., Chris was employed by Wells Fargo & Co. During his tenure, Chris held positions as a Commercial Lender, Underwriter, Internal Corporate Auditor, and managed a Mergers & Acquisition team.
In addition to his executive duties, Chris enjoys participating in community, civic and professional activities. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker; a Commissioner for the City of Ankeny's Civil Service Commission; Director on the Boards of Bankers Trust Company, Putco Manufacturing, Inc., and Denny Elwell Company, L.C.; and member of the Grand View College School of Business's Academic Advisory Committee. Chris was named into the prestigious 40 Under 40 in 2005 at the age of 29, and most recently was recognized as the 2011 Grandview University Young Alumni of the Year. Chris' favorite pastimes are family activities with his wife and daughter.
Chris is assisted by Amy Hinners. Amy is a graduate of Buena Vista University and has been working in the various facets of real estate since 1991.
