Bio
For over 20 years, Christopher Gentzkow has been a leading force in the commercial real estate industry, specializing in retail properties. Since beginning his career with CBRE in 1997, Gentzkow has concentrated on retail landlord and tenant representation in leasing, development, disposition, acquisition of retail assets and rollout of tenant assignments. A San Diego native, Gentzkow relocated to Salt Lake City in 2003 to lead in the development of CBRE’s inter-mountain west retail division. A foremost highlight of his career was overseeing the comprehensive leasing process for the 2,000,000-square-foot Jordan Landing project in West Jordan, Utah.
Returning to his home state in 2009, Gentzkow accumulated a long track record of retail transactions in Southern California and throughout the western United States. As a Vice President at CBRE, Gentzkow represented both regional and national tenants including Sprint, AT&T, Washington Mutual, Home Depot, Ashley Furniture and Johnny Carino’s, as well as prominent landlords and developers like Red Mountain Retail Group, Zurich, Arnel, Donahue Schriber, Lewis Properties and Forest City Development.
In 2017, Gentzkow fulfilled a lifelong dream of launching his own firm, GENTZ Commercial. With an aptitude for market research, technology implementation and creative thinking, Christopher values the opportunity to be nimble and efficient for his clients, while casting a vision to evolve the Southern California retail landscape.
