Chris Maietta joined Combined Properties in 1992. He is experienced in the acquisition, development, financing, construction, marketing, and management of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential assets. Recent development projects include: 295 Canal Street, a $20 million, 67,000 s.f. first-class office redevelopment of an industrial site. Exchange Street Apartments, a $58.5 million transit-oriented apartment community of 210 apartment homes. 160 Pleasant Street Apartments, a $45 million transit-oriented apartment community of 204 apartment homes and 225-space underground parking structure. 125 Mountain Ave., $15 million, 76,000 s.f. redevelopment of a former National Guard Armory for a Y.M.C.A. Chris was previously with Perini Land and Development Company, Cummings Properties, Data General, and Arthur D. Little. He serves on the Board of Directors of NAIOP Massachusetts and is a past- president and Board chairman. Actively involved in the community, Chris is founder and chairman of Wayland-Weston Rowing Association, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization operating an interscholastic crew program for girls and boys enrolled in Wayland and Weston high schools. Since its establishment in 2000, the dual-town varsity team has medaled at state, regional, and national championships, and has built a boathouse. He has initiated, or assisted in, establishment of interscholastic rowing programs at other public and private high schools including Milton High School, Mystic Valley Regional Charter School, and Westford Academy. He is always happy to help get more kids (and adults) on the water. Chris is a co-founder of Friends of Cochituate State Park. He has received a Massachusetts Recreation and Parks Association Special Citation Award for contributions to youth development, public parks and recreation, and has been named a Massachusetts State Lottery Friend of the Fairway, which recognizes a citizen from each of the state’s municipalities for contributions to community through sport.
