Christopher B. O’Callaghan has been one of the most active commercial office brokers in Fairfield and Westchester Counties for the past 19 years.
He has negotiated several significant real estate transactions in the region, involving such companies as AT&T, Atlas Air (120,000 sq. ft. at Texaco’s headquarters), Metropolitan Life Insurance, UNUM, Ameritech, Greystone, New York Life, United Technologies, Skandia Life Insurance, Triarc Beverage Group (Snapple), Arkwright Boston Insurance Company, Hitachi, Emcor Group, Inc., Candie’s, and Waterhouse Securities. Chris’ most recent transactions included the sale of the former Texaco Corporate Headquarters in Purchase, NY to Morgan Stanley and the leasing of 135,000 square feet at 900 King Street in Rye Brook, NY to Cadbury Beverages America. Chris has negotiated lease and sale transactions valued at $200,000,000 involving over 8,000,000 square feet.
Chris is a graduate from St. Lawrence University. He is on the Board of Trustees of New York United Hospital Medical Center, The Business Council of Westchester County, The Westchester American Red Cross, and NAOIP (The National Association of Industrial and Office Parks). He is also a member of REFA (The Real Estate Finance Association), the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Westchester (where he served as President), and Westchester County Country Club in Rye, NY.
Chris and his wife, Caroline, have four daughters, Annie, Kerry, Claire, and Elie and reside in Rye, NY.
