Clay is a lifelong resident of New Jersey. Coming from a technical background, Clay enjoyed engaging in projects and solving problems, but knew there was a better way to grow his future financial position than collecting his employer’s wage and investing in his 401(k). Thus a fascination in real estate investing was born. Not long after, Clayton purchased his first four-family investment property at age of 25, which served as his first exposure to managing and screening tenants, planning and executing maintenance and renovation projects, as well as creative financing. From that moment on, Clay shifted gears and aimed his career fully into real estate sales and investing. Drawing from his own experiences as a direct purchaser and landlord gave him an experienced perspective which allowed him to serve his investor clients for maximum benefit. From there, he began transacting larger commercial sales, from industrial properties to large subdivisions. Almost working the process in reverse, going from complex to straight-forward, Clayton began offering services to home purchasers and sellers, and found his experience with complicated, high-dollar commercial transactions allowed a proficiency for home sales.
