Craig L. Reicher is a Vice Chairman of the New York Tri-State Region and has been a leader of brokerage teams responsible for closing in excess of ten million square feet of transactions over the last decade. Mr. Reicher focuses on developing and implementing creative real estate strategies on behalf of a wide variety of clients, including Altria, Bloomberg, Marsh & McLennan, Mercer, Guy Carpenter, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Duquesne Capital, The Conference Board, The New York Blood Center, Danisco Cultor USA, Argent Ventures and Macklowe Properties.
Mr. Reicher was formerly a partner in Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson’s Real Estate Department. His practice at Fried, Frank was transactional in nature, encompassing complex conveyances, loan originations and workouts, with a particular emphasis on large commercial leasing matters. He has represented a number of major New York metropolitan area landlords, including The Rockefeller Group, Hiro Real Estate Co., The State of Alabama Retirement Systems, U.S. West Pension Fund, The Hines Interests and Brown Harris Stevens. Mr. Reicher’s legal representation of tenants includes Condé Nast Publications, PaineWebber, The Sumitomo Bank, S.G. Warburg & Co., Aon Risk Services and Dow Jones. He has also played a major role in lending transactions on behalf of large financial institutions, including The Sumitomo Bank and Principal Mutual Life Insurance Company.
A primary focus of Mr. Reicher’s career has been his involvement with significant law firm leasing transactions, including Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld; Cohen Lans; Cravath, Swaine & Moore; Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson; Jackson Lewis; Kaye Scholer; Kelley Drye & Warren; LeBoeuf, Lamb & Greene & MacRae; Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy; Robinson, Silverman, Pearce, Aronsohn & Berman; Seeger Weiss; Willkie Farr & Gallagher and The Legal Aid Society. He has also served as a panelist at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York for such topics as “Law Office Leasing – What Every Lawyer Should Know About Finding Office Space and Negotiating the Lease” and “Lawyers and Their Search for Office Space”.
