Bio
As Crystal Qian Hu closed the door, her daughter, Anni, in her arms; she felt her heart sink. He started a new job right before Anni was born and once the door closed, it was just her and Anni for the week. Her breath felt tight in her chest and she felt like she was lost at sea.
Vinh and she had done everything on fast forward. They were married months after she graduated college and Anni was born the following summer. There was no time to catch their breath, to adjust to this new life they were carving out for themselves and her world continued to shrink with each day home as a full-time mom.
That day when she closed the door to see Vinh the next week, he was working at a job four hours away. He only had enough time to come home on weekends to see Anni and her. Before she met Vimh, she did not have any family nearby, let alone in the country. It was hard to start a new life a world away from her family and she missed Vinh during those long weeks while she was figuring out this whole new life.
Before her second daughter, Hanna, was born Vinh switched to a job closer to home and was able to come home each night finally. Hanna was born one year after Anni and staying home with two little ones at times felt like she was in the middle of a swirling tornado. Being a full-time mom is not for the faint of heart and she adores her girls, but her world had shrunk to the walls of her home and she felt even further adrift from herself.
She came to the United States in 2008 for college, to learn and grow. Since then, she had felt that she wasn’t learning as much, just going through the routine of each day trying to keep up. She wanted to challenge herself again, learning new things and pushing the limits, more than she could at home. She knew she needed a change, she had to find that missing piece.
After she talked to Vinh and did extensive research, she decided to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She started right away at a nursing home while she completed her training and after six months, she started working at the state mental hospital.
What she realized on those long afternoons home with her girls was that she’s a people-person. She loves meeting others and sharing conversations, news, making new friends. To have her girls get her at 100% meant finding that social lifeline outside the house and reconnecting with herself through a new challenge.
She’s been a REALTOR® since 2017 and has enjoyed every second. Prior to arriving to the States, she studied Interior Design and her attention to detail has been greatly utilized as a REALTOR®. She loves traveling and spending time with her husband and our three children. Her favorite part of being a REALTOR® is getting to know her clients and helping them navigate through the transitions in their lives one challenge at a time.
Buying or selling a home can be personal, it can be complicated, it can be overwhelmingly stressful. That’s why her number one priority is always the client. What they need and helping them reach their goals, is her primary focus. With her expertise and experience in communication and negotiation, she knows she can help them get the best deal that fits their needs. We all have goals and dreams. It’s up to her to help them not only reach theirs, but reach beyond it. Once we get started together, she’ll continue to be there as their lifelong REALTOR® helping them in the years to come.
