Mr. Holcomb is a Senior Vice President and Co-Leader of the Mission Critical Solutions team. He has over fourteen years experience in the commercial real estate industry as well as six years experience in the technology industry. Mr. Holcomb has become a recognized leader in the technical real estate industry. He focuses on all facets of this niche segment of commercial real estate including project leasing, development, investment sales, and user representation. Experience Mr. Holcomb has experience working in multiple markets around the country assisting users, owners and investors evaluate their critical facility assets and devise the proper strategy to maximize their investment. This experience encompasses work in over 60 markets in 30 different states and includes several data center and critical facility asset sales and dispositions. Mr. Holcomb has also led the leasing and marketing assignments for the INFOMART in Dallas, Texas -- a 1.6 million square foot telecom hotel property. During the last four years, Mr. Holcomb has transacted over 1 million square feet of data centers in multiple markets around the United States. Some of the more prominent transactions included disposition of Google’s 313,000-square-foot data center to Digital Realty Trust on behalf of JP MorganChase; subleasing the 70,000-square-foot Nippon Telephone & Telegraph data center/lab/office to Microsoft in Seattle, Washington; sale of a primary data center to eBay in Denver, Colorado; sale of Digital Realty Trust’s 116,500-square-foot data center to Washington Mutual in Dallas; lease buyout and infrastructure sale of Verio’s 90,000-square-foot data center to Morgan Stanley in Newark, New Jersey; and the acquisition of a 125,000-square-foot data center shell on behalf of Amazon, Inc. in Loudon, Virginia. Other assignments have included the evaluation of technical real estate assets worldwide for EDS culminating in a $324 million portfolio sale; design of the next generation EDS data center; and various consulting roles for technical real estate owners and investors. Mr. Holcomb’s clients include JP MorganChase, Amazon, Inc., Nippon Telephone & Telegraph (NTT), Verio, Inc., Sprint, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Washington Mutual among others. Positions Prior to working for Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Holcomb worked in the Corporate Advisory Services Group at Trammel Crow Company as Senior Vice President where he led the Trammell Crow Critical Facilities Group.
